BELQUA support to the 4th International Geologica Belgica Meeting At the occasion of its 5th anniversary, the BELQUA National Committee will financially support four selected Young Quaternary Scientists to attend the 4th International Geologica Belgica Meeting, which will take place in Brussels on September 11-14, 2012. Applications are invited from PhD students, who are scheduled to give an oral presentation in any of the sessions about a subject in relation to the Quaternary in Belgium, or Belgian PhD students carrying out Quaternary research abroad. The candidates must be the first author of the abstract, and the BELQUA support must be acknowledged in the presentation (BELQUA logo). Applications for support will be possible by ticking the BELQUA box in the abstract form available for submitting an abstract to the Meeting. An ad hoc committee will review the applications. Four applications will be selected for support. Successful applicants will be offered the registration fee to the Meeting. The successful applicants will be informed personally by e-mail. Awards cannot be transferred. The granted amount will be paid in cash during the meeting.
